Looks Christmas is coming girls/guys :) Renault joined us! Audi when will you join us also?
Slightly Mad Studios are excited to announce the newest addition to Project CARS’ ever-expanding list of represented car manufacturers as Renault joins the WMD-powered racing title.
Thanks to the efforts of SMS partner Andy Marshall of Racetek Simulators, Project CARS will allow players to experience six of Renault’s most sought after cars.
Renault’s arrival to Project CARS will give players the chance to drive some of the company’s most spectacular & successful road & racing cars, starting with one of their newest creations, the 265hp 2014 Mégane RS road car.
Project CARS is all about racing and everyone will find a Renault race car to match their skill level in game, starting out with the 2013 Clio IV RS Cup, one of the world’s most popular tin-top racers.
Drivers fancying something more powerful will be able to prove themselves in the V6-powered Mégane Trophy II race car or tackle the ultimate challenge: The 2013 Alpine A450 LMP2 prototype racer of Le Mans 24 Hours fame.
Aside from current road & racing machinery, the choice of Renault cars represented within the game also honors the brand’s past competition success: Players will experience the 1999 Renault Laguna of British Touring Car Championship fame, one of the company’s most successful & iconic touring cars.
The list of Renaults in Project CARS is rounded out by nothing less than a geniune Le Mans 24 Hours winner, the V6 Turbo-powered Alpine A442B that Didier Pironi and Jean-Pierre Jaussaud took to the top of the podium at La Sarthe in 1978.
